My name is Sarah Mantell and I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My research lies at the intersection of quantum groups, representation theory, and diagrammatic algebra. When I’m not working on my research, I enjoy baking, knitting, and various other types of art.
